S/4HANA vs ECC: what changed and why employers want it
SAP S/4HANA is SAP’s current ERP, built on the in-memory HANA database. Compared with ECC it replaces separate finance tables with the Universal Journal, replaces customer and vendor masters with business partners, simplifies inventory and sales tables, and uses Fiori apps instead of classic GUI screens for most user tasks. SAP ends mainstream maintenance for ECC in 2027, so companies across India are migrating now and hiring consultants who know S/4HANA rather than only ECC. Training on S/4HANA, not an old ECC system, is the single most important thing to check when choosing a course.

Hands-on system access
Students work on a live SAP S/4HANA system (private-cloud edition) with their own client for configuration practice, available outside class hours for the course period. ABAP students get developer access with Eclipse ADT. The end-of-course project is an end-to-end business scenario (for example order-to-cash or procure-to-pay) configured from scratch.

Frequently asked questions
Is SAP S/4HANA different from SAP FICO or MM?
S/4HANA is the product version; FICO, MM and SD are modules inside it. An “S/4HANA Finance” course is the FICO module taught on S/4HANA.
Should I learn ECC or S/4HANA?
S/4HANA. ECC mainstream maintenance ends in 2027 and new projects are on S/4HANA. Our courses explain ECC differences only where you will meet them on migration projects.
Which S/4HANA certification should I take?
