What temporary staffing services cover

Temporary staffing (also called manpower or temp staffing) fills a role for a defined short period: a few days to a few months. Typical reasons are maternity or sick-leave cover, seasonal peaks, events, audits, data-migration projects and trial periods before a permanent hire. The temp is on Alexisoft’s payroll and works under the client’s supervision.

How temporary staffing works in four steps

1. Brief: you tell us the role, number of people, start date, duration and location.
2. Shortlist: we select screened candidates from our database and SAP alumni pool and share profiles.
3. Deploy: after your approval we complete onboarding, ID verification and statutory registration, and the temp reports to your site.
4. Manage: monthly invoice, attendance and timesheets, replacement cover, and conversion to permanent if you want to keep the person.

Turnaround time and minimum engagement

Common office and support roles can usually be filled within a few working days; specialised IT roles take longer. The minimum engagement is normally two weeks, and there is no upper limit as long as the role stays temporary in nature. We confirm a realistic start date on the briefing call rather than quoting a blanket number.

Compliance: who is the employer?

Alexisoft is the employer of record for every temporary worker. We issue the employment contract, pay the salary, deposit Provident Fund and ESI, and maintain statutory registers under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act where applicable. The client receives one monthly invoice and carries no payroll or labour-law exposure for the temp.

Pricing model

Temporary staffing is billed as a monthly (or daily, for very short assignments) rate per worker. The rate covers the worker’s salary, PF, ESI and insurance, and Alexisoft’s service margin. We quote per role after the brief; there is no separate recruitment fee.
