What is contract staffing?

Contract staffing is hiring a professional for a fixed term or project through a staffing agency. The agency employs the contractor, handles payroll, PF, ESI and compliance, and the client directs the day-to-day work. It suits project peaks, backfills, niche skills and roles where a permanent hire is not yet justified.

How our contract recruiting process works

1. Requirement call: role, skills, duration, location (onsite, hybrid or remote) and budget.
2. Sourcing and screening: we shortlist from our database, our SAP alumni network and active sourcing, and run technical screening.
3. Client interviews: you interview a shortlist of two to four candidates.
4. Onboarding: we issue the contract, run background verification and complete payroll and compliance setup.
5. Management: monthly invoicing, timesheets, replacement if a contractor leaves, and conversion support if you want to hire them permanently.

Contract terms, notice and replacement

Standard contracts run three, six or twelve months and extend in one-month blocks. Notice periods are set in the agreement, typically 15 to 30 days. If a contractor leaves within the initial period we source a replacement at no additional recruiting fee. Pricing is a monthly rate per contractor that covers salary, statutory contributions and our margin; there is no separate placement fee for contract roles.

What is the difference between contract staffing and a recruitment agency?

A recruitment agency finds a candidate whom you then employ and pays a one-time fee. In contract staffing the agency employs the person and bills you monthly for the duration; you avoid payroll, compliance and the cost of a permanent hire.

What does a contract placement agency charge?

Contract staffing is billed as a monthly rate per contractor, which includes the person’s salary, PF and ESI, and the agency margin. The margin varies by skill and duration; ask for a rate card for your role.

Can a contract employee be converted to permanent?

Yes. Conversion is written into our contract-to-hire agreements and can be arranged on standard contracts after the initial term, usually with a reduced conversion fee.

How quickly can you provide a contractor?

Common skills can be shortlisted within a few working days; niche SAP or cloud roles take longer. We give a realistic timeline on the requirement call rather than a blanket promise.

Do you provide contract IT staffing outside Hyderabad?

Yes. Most clients are in Hyderabad and Telangana, but we place contractors across India and support remote engagements.
